When we met up with Ellie and Zack at Woods Coffee before the wedding just to chat, we knew it was going to be an amazing wedding. We weren’t disappointed! Their wedding brought me back to all the weddings we shot years ago when we traveled all over the US to be a part of the home made, back yard weddings on couples family properties. Those kinda of weddings hold such a special place our my hearts so we felt right at home for this one!
They were married along the most beautiful property that belonged to a friend right along to Nooksack River right outside of Bellingham, WA. The way the fog settled on the mountain tops all day over the river was distracting in the best kind of way. I couldn’t stop watching the fog change shape. Their ceremony had everyone captivated because they filled it with rich tradition and meaning. It was so special to watch each of their mom’s officiate with wise words.
Every part of the day, down to the mosts spectacular sun bursting through right before it set, was beautiful. Congratulations Ellie and Zack! And thank you for letting us be a part of your amazing day.
