Why choose you?
We know there are tons of photographers out there to choose from. It’s hard to decide who to go with! So what makes us stand out? Honestly…us! We love our couples and have been told time and time again we are awesome at making their time shooting with us as fun, comfortable and laid back as possible. We truly enjoy weddings and love what we do. We feel we tell people’s love stories as they actually were and help them remember the smallest details of a whirlwind of a day. For us, your wedding isn’t a photoshoot! We are there to capture it all for you, not to run your day!
How much experience do you have?
TONS! We’ve been shooting weddings together since we’ve been dating (going on 18 years now). Heather has even longer! We’ve shot every kind of wedding from LA rooftops, islands off the coast of the Carolinas, small town crab bake in Rhode Island, barns deep in Alabama, corn field weddings in Iowa, backyard weddings in Chicago and all over the PNW. We’ve seen it all and have shot over 300 weddings!
In the event of an emergency, what happens?
Honestly, we have never, not once, missed a wedding. I went through 4 pregnancies, sickness, flow all over the US (sometimes multiple times in a week) and we’ve never missed. BUT, if something were to happen that made it so we couldn’t come to your wedding, we would do everything in our power to provide an equally awesome photographer to shoot your wedding. We have a wide network of photographers we trust to pull from.
What if we’re really awkward in front of the camera?
Who isn’t? There is no way around it being a bit uncomfortable for the first little bit of being photographed. But every single couple we’ve shot claims to be really un-photogenic, and they are all awesome! We do are best to get you laughing and shake away those nerves quickly! A good way to avoid this is to schedule an engagement shoot with us. Half the reason we do them is for you two to get comfortable in front of the camera. You also get some awesome pictures!

Her warm, easygoing personality immediately put us at ease. We didn’t feel awkward or pressured to "pose" — she made the whole experience feel natural and fun. We even brought our husky along, expecting he’d only cooperate for a few quick shots before getting restless. But Heather was incredibly patient and accommodating — she handled him like a pro. I’ve never blushed looking at pictures of us until now! We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing experience — or a more beautiful result.
