We're a husband-and-wife wedding photography team based out of Bellingham, Washington. We believe in the beauty of natural, light filled, organic and playful photos. Our focus is on creating timeless imagery that can become heirlooms for couples or families: no fake smiles or cookie cutter poses, just real, honest moments worth remembering. Our strength is making you feel comfortable in front of the camera (even if you think that would be impossible) because our shoots feel more like spending the day with friends! We love capturing the real connection and love that’s happening in front of us, whether it’s your amazing wedding day or time for new family photos. We want to leave you with images to be enjoyed for generations.
We’ve been photographing wedding photography together full time for over 17 years shooting over 300 weddings and hundreds of families. After we were married in 2009, we packed up and moved from Southern California to the beautiful Pacific Northwest to carry on being wedding and family photographers here in Bellingham and Seattle (and traveled all over the US to shoot.) Getting to capture people’s sweet moments together is part of the core of who we are!

It may sound cheesy, but I’ve had a camera glued to my face since I was small. Nothing delights me more than seeing the little, beautiful moments in-between the big ones. The way the light catches someone’s face or the way a toddler hugs her mama and runs her hands through her hair. I believe deeply in the power of a photograph. It’s not just a quick snap of an event; it’s a moment frozen in time forever to be relived over and over. Taking pictures at a wedding or of a family feels to me like stitching together this thread of love into a whole tapestry that tells a story.
A little about me: I am a homeschooling mama of four from teenagers down to littles. I look forward to berry picking all year long and growing our own food (so much gardening). I can’t turn down a good thrift store, or ice cream and I love coffee a bit too much. Our family lives on 5 acres in the woods of the PNW and we feel so blessed to do so! I am so thankful to be able to capture the memories and warm feelings of weddings, families and new little babies for a living and couldn’t possibly ask for more fulfilling thing to do with my life.

Meet Grayson
Hi! I'm Grayson, the man-half of Jagger Photography. I love meeting new people and strangers are friends I haven’t met yet! I will do almost anything, anywhere to entertain my family (usually to a chorus of eye rolls).
Outside of photography, I am passionate about building (anything). My crowning achievement would have to be our tiny house/treehouse in our woods. I am constantly always working on new projects and there is at least 5 pounds of sawdust on the garage floor. I love rock climbing, being barefoot in the garden, drinking coffee, reading, trail running, golfing, and being outdoors. I also find it nearly impossible to resist the call of a rainy-day nap.
I feel super blessed to be able to take pictures alongside my amazing wife, snuggle with our kiddos, and being involved in people's lives in a profoundly awesome way. I'm a pretty happy guy!
The story of our bike logo
I (Heather) always wanted a yellow tandem bike! Not sure why, I just had it in my mind! When Grayson and I were dating I saw one for rent at a park where we fed ducks all the time and wanted to look at it. It happened to be for sale and Grayson bought it for me! We rode it everywhere- all the time. We even rode away from our wedding on it as our “grand exit”, dress train flowing behind us and all! It instantly became our business logo because it was perfectly us. On our one-year anniversary I had it tattooed on my foot, and we still ride the bike today with our kids!
