Ok everybody… if you ever want to win a contest for best wedding ever, take every note from Megan and Ben. Not only was their wedding among the beautiful mountains of Mazama, Washington. They threw the most amazingly fun party ever! Ben’s mom is part of a folk band, so naturally they had so much county dancing, with a caller and all, performing at their reception. Instead of a typical cake cutting, Ben and Megan commissioned their friends to do a a Great British Baking Show bake off and THEY were the judges! They did a blind taste test and announced the winner, it was a whole party. We seriosuly had so much fun celebrating with these two and their families. We laughed at every moment, especially when their officiator/Megan’s uncle started the ceremony for Megan and HER BROTHER! Everyone roared with laughter everytime he said her brother’s name in the ceremony instead of Ben’s.
So if you want an awesome wedding here are some tips: laugh at everything, have a line caller with a live band, make all your friends do coreographed dances they’ve never done and turn your cake into a cake contest. Boom, recipe for success!
