This summer I got to work with (the amazing) Shayle, owner of Feast Food Truck. Guys… I’m not just saying this, her food is truly amazing. Shayle and I became friends through a homeschool program our kids are in. The first time we ever hang out I ate a cake she made and was instantly hooked. Everything she makes in truly awesome.
After this shoot we ate the food I used for the shoot and even cold it was perfect! Those beer battered mushrooms were one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! She gave me her buttermilk fried chicken sandwich after Daphne was born and it was the best thing anyone could ever have given me!
Shayle and her husband Casey (Casey made this beautiful truck) are originally from Alaska and wanted to bring hospitality to our community. They succeeded!
In their words: “Feast feels natural to who we are. We have always loved the ritual of pausing amidst our busy lives to gather friends and family, strangers and acquaintances, and everyone in between around delicious food. Feast is about enjoying life’s abundance with each other. It’s about savoring food made with love.”
