Sumikawa Family shoot at the Orange County Museum of Art

I’ve said this a million times, but my favorite thing about being a photographer this long is getting to follow families through life with my camera. I’ve been shooting the Sumikawa’s since their daughter was 6 months old. And it is THE BEST! I fly down to California with my family every year to visit our family and play. And every year I get to meet up with these gems of people and have so much fun. We spend 80% of our time cracking up and getting the most joy filled pictures. Their son is a big time butt grabber and I egg him on relentlessly to get those good giggles. 

This time, I flew in and headed straight to our shoot at the Orange County Museum of Art where we constantly felt like we were doing something illegal, but we weren’t! It was an awesome place to shoot, so beautiful and I looooveeee good architecture and leading lines in photos. What a nerd. It never gets old being with them and I’m already looking forward to next year.
