  • Natalie + Adam “tying the knot” {Detroit, MI}

    Sunday, August 29 | Comments

    Natalie and Adam got married  at the Gross Point Academy Chapel which was along a river right outside of Detroit. it was this super cool, old, brick academy with an ornate chapel. We LOVED the details at this wedding, they wanted a whole nautical/tying the knot theme and it turned out awesome. The had their reception at the Detroit Yacht Club and it was such a good location! Right on the water, we love it!

    They wanted us to shoot some film so we brought along mi favoritas: the Holga and the Hassleblad, I used to live off those two cameras. Plus Grayson likes the sound the Hassleblad makes :]

    All of the flowers at the wedding were made of fabric and tied with rope. His ring had a rope design on it as well.

    I love bow-ties :]

    the tiniest/cutest boutonnieres ever.

    holy moly could this girl be any freakin prettier?

    I’ve always been in love with balloons so we had them grab one off their bike.

    I’m pretty sure I watched Grayson drink at least 6 of these…

    Instead of cake they had a Boston Cooler {which we just learned about, it’s vanilla ice cream and Vernor’s Ginger Ale, pretty tasty}
