Hello all! To start off our story, we met rock climbing and it just so happened that our first date was on Valentines Day (to Ikea, how romantic!). We quickly started dating and got engaged in 8 months and married in a little over a year in sunny Southern California where we were both born and raised! We fell in love over frozen yogurt, camping, rock climbing trips, breaking into swimming pools, a shared love of Jesus and a passion for creating. We’ve been shooting together since 2008 and before that Heather (previously Heather Jagger) started Jagger Photography on her own. After we were married we packed up and moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest where we now live in Bellingham, WA. Getting to shoot together is the best thing in the world! We have so much fun making beautiful photos together and it’s provided us with our dream life of working from home and getting to be with our 3 awesome children all day, everyday! We really focus on creating interesting and unique images; all while making it a really fun and laid-back day! One of our strengths is making sure people are comfortable in front of the camera, even if you think that would be impossible! We avoid cookie cutter images and capture the real joy and love that’s happening in front of us.
The best way for me to describe myself is that I love my family more than anything and owe every blessing I’ve been given to God’s love and grace. I am a big time fan of home births, organic food and home made everything. I absolutely love being a wife and a mama and couldn’t image it any other way. I am incapable of turning down dessert and I was raised to be a garage sale fiend. I look forward to berry picking all year long and I am a sucker for naps and love living where we can take a walk through the woods every evening. I love side dishes more than the main course and will always chose the brightest color to paint a room in our home. I can’t stop doing home projects, I’m a major multi-tasker and go until I drop. Finally, I am so thankful to be able to take photos of weddings, families and new little babies for a living and couldn’t possibly ask for more fulfilling thing to do with my life.
Hi! I'm Grayson, the man half of Jagger Photography. I am an introvert at heart, but when I get comfortable, "watch out," because you will get to know me more deeply and quickly than you could ever want. I will do almost anything, anywhere to entertain my family. I give little thought to social norms and constantly get looks for it. It doesn't help that I wear clothes way past the point that most people consider them wearable. Acting normal when I was created uniquely weird just doesn't seem right. Outside of photography, I am passionate about building (anything). I am constantly working on new projects and at all times there is at least 5 pounds of sawdust on the garage floor. I also love rock climbing, being barefoot, drinking coffee, reading, trail running, golfing, and being outdoors. Also, I'm pretty good at scrabble. I feel super blessed to be able to take pictures alongside my amazing wife, spend all day hanging out with Myles, and be involved in people's lives in a profoundly awesome way. I'm a pretty happy guy!
Our little Myles was born at home after 30 long hours of labor. He is the loudest baby ever and doesn’t seem to understand yet that there is more than one volume. He looks a lot like his mama but has his daddy’s bright blue eyes and smile face. He’s our little social butterfly and has always loved being the center of attention. He wakes up every day at 5:59am on the dot and wants to eat an apple in bed while we read books and snuggle. 99% of his clothes are used and he growls like a gremlin and covers his mouth when he giggles, which always makes us giggle. He never stops (ever), which I suppose is to be expected being raised by us because we like to go! We love him to pieces and wouldn’t change a thing! Baby number two will hopefully be a little calmer as a newborn than her brother was! With Myles for a brother she’ll get used to sleeping through loud sounds quick!
